A Safe Haven
Why do you think nobody from Ruben's family visited him during his time at Tom's?
Maybe because they wanted to give him time to recover and heal from his experience from getting kidnapped and the experience with his head gushing blood all over the place.
I think they are doing that because they don't want him to feel like he's being smothered and they don't want to remind him of the kidnapping. I also think that maybe they wouldn't be able to handle it which would remind Ruben of all of the stuff thats been happening...

ReplyDeleteBecause they were probably being watched by the mobsters and they were scared to lead them to Ruben and Tom.
