What role do you think Ruben having the dead man's pipe might play in the story as it progresses?
I think that Ruben might be able to use it to prove that he really did find a body, that it was really there, and he didn't just make up some story with a child's mind...
I think that Ruben might be able to use it for something in the future, like, as a clue, because no one is really thinking about the dead man and that he was shot. So, since he completely forgot he had it, he might use it for proof or something...
I think that it could help in identifying the man and it might be a clue about where he came from. I think that it might bring him a little trouble but not a lot of trouble.
I would agree with everyone on this because I think that it is possible they will be able to identify the dead man. But I think that the police would not believe him just based on a pipe. But i also think that his parents could back him up saying that Ruben never owned a pipe until the night that he told them where e found te body.
Wasn't it Ruben that had the pipe?
