The Killers Return
What do you think was the turning point for Jeddy that caused him to think he had to report the incidents to his father? Do you think this is what he should do? Please explain your thoughts.
I think he thought that he needed to report them because the two men had actually abused a living creature, and i thought that he might have gotten the idea that the men would be back and try to kill Tom Morison. I think Jeddy should not tell his father because Ruben wants to let this go a little longer to see the men again or to see what they might do to Tom or Tom's shack. I also do not think that he should tell his father because they would get in more trouble than tey were already in for skipping school and going down on the beach which obviously they know now is not a very safe place
I think he should tell because those men came and tried to kill Tom Morrison and his poor little puppy, Voila! I don't for sure know that if he does tell, the police will be able to DO anything, but it wouldn't hurt anyone to tell, would it? I don't think so, and I think it's still the right thing to do... I mean, just because you trip over a dog, really, would you HAVE to shoot it?! She didn't do anything wrong, and neither did Tom Morrison! I DEFINATELY think he should tell the police, because if they find the killers, they would go to jail for murder AND attempted murder! Tom's shack isn't safe anymore, and I think that NO ONE should go near it anymore, not even Tom! Reading that chapter almost made me cry, the poor dog! Voila! I will miss you! People might start to wonder what has happened to Voila... I know I would... Overall, I think Jeddy should tell, Ruben should agree with him, Tom shouldn't stay at the the shack anymore, Voila should come back to life, AND THE KILLERS SHOULD GO TO JAIL!!! I hope the police will be able to do SOMETHING about all of this... The poor puppy deserves justice! :'( and >:-( STUPED KILLERS!!! And for good mesure... POOR VOILA!!! :'( >:-(
I think he should tell because hearing something that had happened like that, I think needs to be addressed! And I agree with Shannon! Poor Viola! she didn't deserve to die! If I tripped over a dog (or if YOU tripped over a dog) would you just get up and walk away? Or would you get annoyed and shoot atit? I'm wondering what had caused that man (the big fellow) to shoot Viola. Why was he in SUCH a rush, that he just HAD to shoot her? What was he so annoyed at that made him do that? I think that that was wrong to do that. You could be, like, two hours late for... curfew. Would you bump into a person that wouldn't move when you said "excuse me" and then just SHOOT him/her? I think that something should be done about that incident with Viola AND the Black Duck seeing! I think that it would be something that people would want to know about. Except, what if people didn't believe? I mean, it might be easy to believe that someone shot Tom Morrisons dog, but people might think, how? But thinking that the Black Duck came back? That would be hard to believe. People like that don't belong running around freely and getting away with stuff like that, they belong locked away in cages like animals! >:-( Oh, and also, I say again, POOR VIOLA! CAGE THE KILLERS! CAGE THE KILLERS!

ReplyDeleteI know it was so sad I was reading and i was like uh oh they killed Tom and ten they said they could see Tom and I am like noooooooo Viola... :(
