The Disappearance
What is your theory about what happened to the body?
I think that maybe that man used to be on a ship, but maybe he got into a war, or fight... or something like that, and he kinda... lost. So after he "lost" the crew pushed him off of the ship and ended up washing onto shore. End of story. Good-bye, The End.
I think it was on one of those ships that carries illegal alcohol, and someone caught the ship and the man got shot in the neck and that is how he died. I think its either that, or he was on the ship and maybe got into a fight or something about it. OR... the ship got caught and then sunk from all of the gunshots, which caused him to wash up on the shore...
Good thoughts, but what I actually meant was what do you think happened to it between the time the boys discovered it and when they returned with Marina and Charlie?
OK, that makes more sense... I think that in the first place, the body was planted there, like someone purposely put it there. I think that person watched when Jeddy and Ruben found it, then when they left, came out and moved the body somewhere else so the police wouldn't get involved in the whole thing.
I think I agree with nick that the rum runners (Is that one word?) did something with the body because they had something to do with it or a threat that was made that if anyone told, they would face consequences. so they moved the body because they saw the boys dilly dallying with it and they didn't want the police to be contacted about it. 9i guess they are too late then)

ReplyDeleteI think that the whole police department knows about that body, because everyone from the police department is acting kind of strange.
ReplyDeleteI think it has been moved by rumrunners who know who the man was and where he came from and what he was doing.

ReplyDeleteHow can you explain the lack of footprints or any sort of marks near where the body was?
ReplyDeleteI think that if he got moved, the people who moved him got him moved by water, so there wouldn't be any marks.
ReplyDeleteIt could be what anyhad said, but the only way to explain no footprints, is maybe that the body floated off into the ocean...
ReplyDeleteI agree, Matt. By the water, the footprints would eventually wash away. No eveidence. The End.
ReplyDeletewhy do you keep saying the end??
