A Dark-Rimmed Hole
What do you think caused Marina to break down into laughter? What do you think Ruben thought about it?
I think it was because Ruben was acting all dopey (or at least he thought he was) and Marina saying "Ruben Hart, have you no respect from the dead?". And she just couldn't help herself.
I think it was because Ruben was acting all proud and "dopey" as Ruben called it, for finding to body in the first place and it caused Marina to burst into laughter because Ruben was pretty happy about it...
I think it was the dopey way that Ruben said, nope, and that Marina was laughing at when she said, "You've just found a body on the beach and now you're grinning like a hyena and you don't know why?"
I think she just thought it was funny but I am not totally sure what she could have thought was funny. I also have a question... What,or i guess who do you think he sees in Marina? I kind of think that it is Eilene but I also have a thought that is Chief McKenzie because i think that the author might have put a little twist into the book to give it a little "humor" (I guess that what i'd call it!)
