The Breakup
What do you think is going on in Jeddy's mind during the conversation with Ruben? Why do you think Jeddy doesn't "have time" to be with Ruben?
I don't really know what was on his mind, but I think he "doesn't have time" because his father thinks that Ruben's family (more specifiaclly his father) could be involved in the whole rum-running business...
I think it has something to do with Jeddy thinking something of Ruben's father and the rum-running thing. I don't know if it is the other way around. To me, I don't know about you, that would be kinda hard to picture...

ReplyDeleteMabey but I don't think so I think his dad saw Ruben at the cove and dosn't want Jeddy to be friends with him anymore.

ReplyDeletei think that they don't have time for each other to hang out because they work on the opposite side of town and when Ruben has time off he visits Tom.
